Ms. Yegorova-Lutsenko thanked the German project partner and trainers, and stressed the ‘importance in today’s environment of improving the quality of vocational education, the competence of workers, and the professional development of teachers in Kharkiv region.’

The cooperation between the Kharkiv Oblast (region in the north-east of Ukraine), their vocational educational institutions and the project Craftspeople without Borders continues: An advanced training group has already started in car repair and maintenance; new groups in hairdressing and welding will follow in the coming weeks.
‘I am extremely pleased that a large number of women have joined the courses, also in the non-feminine trades’, so Tetiana Yegorova-Lutsenko.
The Ukrainian and European project partners will now discuss the possibility of offline trainings in Germany and Poland for the Ukrainian course participants.
Increasing the number of skilled workers is what is needed to rebuild our country.
